Welcome to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brady, the Heart of Texas! All are welcome!

Welcome home. We are really glad you are here. Come on in!

The Episcopal Church is not the building, not the service, not the pomp or attire, it is people, people just like you. Without you there is no church.

For many people, walking into a new church for the first time can be a formidable experience, full of wonder but also full of uncertain ties. St. Paul's is more than a lovely  building; it is a loving and growing family.  Everyone that passes through our doors is welcome here.  You do not need to be born into the Episcopal tradition, nor do you need to be someone of much religious background or church experience.  Our worship is unique, but it reaches out to a great variety of people on many different levels.  We hope that your first experience at St. Paul's will be a pleasing and one that you will not forget, but most importantly we hope that you feel welcome here. If you are searching for a parish, we would like St. Paul's to be a community you can call your church home.  If you are visiting, we love having you with us and hope that you visit us often and feel very comfortable and very much at home.

Becoming a Member

One may worship at St. Paul's for any amount of time without officially "joining."  But, if you do worship with us and are interested in a more formal status of membership, please contact Fr. John C. Fritts, the Rector.  Being a member of St. Paul's allows one to participate more fully in the life, ministry, and governance of the parish.  If you are a confirmed Episcopalian, we would be glad to discuss transferring your official membership from a former parish.  If you come from another Christian tradition, you can begin the process of Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church.  If you have never been baptized and find the grace of the Christian Faith here at St. Paul's, it is always a profound joy to prepare seekers of Faith for the mystery of Holy Baptism into the Body of Christ in this community.  Please contact Fr. John C. Fritts.

All women of St. Paul’s belong to The Women of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church,  Brady, Texas.   There are no special criteria or tests or initiations required. THAT’S IT!!  The extent to which a woman is involved in organized activity is up to her. The Women will meet monthly from August, 2010 through May, 2011, on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:05 pm in the Education Building.   The mission of this organization is to relate the entire woman hood of the parish to the whole goal of the Church through a program of worship, service, gifts and fellowship to the end that each woman may find her place in the parish family and the mission of the church.  This includes cooperation with the Episcopal Women of the Diocese of West Texas and the Episcopal Church USA.
